Not on the stores yet.
Our first apps are still in the workshop. They'll land on the App Store and Google Play soon.
Independent software studio · iOS · Android · Software
We build software worth keeping. Then we stay on to keep it shipping.
ByteHaven Studios is an engineering studio. We design and build native mobile apps and the backends behind them, then stay on to maintain, extend, and ship the next version. Finished, not just shipped. No account managers, no buzzwords. The person who writes the code talks to you directly.

Capabilities
What we do
iOS apps
Native iPhone and iPad apps built in Swift and SwiftUI. From a first App Store release to a mature product with offline sync, in-app purchases, and live activities.
Android apps
Native Android in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, or a shared cross-platform core when it earns its keep. Built to handle the real spread of devices, not just the demo phone.
Software services
The parts a mobile app needs to be real: APIs, authentication, data pipelines, dashboards, and integrations. We build the backend and the web surfaces alongside the app, as one system.
Maintenance & growth
Most studios disappear at launch. We stay: OS updates, crash triage, performance work, and the steady stream of features that turn a v1 into something people keep on their home screen.
Process
How we work
Scope, honestly
We pull apart the idea before quoting it — what's the smallest version that proves it works, and what's genuinely hard. You get a real plan, not a sales deck.
Build in the open
Short cycles, working builds in your hands early via TestFlight and Play tracks. You see progress on real devices every week, not at a far-off reveal.
Ship to the store
We handle the unglamorous part — review submissions, signing, store listings, release management — so launch day is boring in the way you want it to be.
Stay on
After launch we keep the app current and the roadmap moving. The same person who built it is the one improving it. Continuity is the whole point.
Principles
What we won't compromise
A byte is the smallest unit of the thing we make. Most software treats your bytes — your data, your time, your attention — as something to harvest. We'd rather look after them.
Craft over volume
We ship fewer things, fully finished. A rough edge left in is a decision, never an accident.
Respect the user
No ads, no nags, no dark patterns. Private by default. The device is theirs — we're a guest in it.
Honest work
We say what's done, what isn't, and what it costs — to users and clients alike.
Durable, not trendy
Clean foundations and restraint with fads. We build things meant to age well, not just to demo.
Independent & direct
A studio you can actually talk to a human at. The person who builds it is the one you reach.
Built to keep.
Questions
Straight answers
How do we start working together?
Send a short note about what you're building. We'll have a real conversation, scope the work, and come back with an honest view of whether and how we can help — and what it would take. No obligation, no sales theatre.
What does it cost?
It depends on the work — we don't pretend otherwise. Once we understand the scope we give you a clear, written quote up front. No hidden line items, no surprises in the invoice. If a fixed price or a phased build fits better, we'll say so.
How long will it take?
Most projects move in focused phases rather than one long stretch — a tight first version that works, then iterations. We give a realistic timeline when we scope it, and we'd rather under-promise and deliver than the reverse.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do. On full payment, the work we build for you — code, designs, and assets — is yours, set out plainly in a written agreement before we start. We keep our own general know-how and tools; your product is your product.
iOS, Android, or both?
Whatever the product actually needs. We build native for each platform rather than taking cross-platform shortcuts where they'd cost quality — and we'll tell you honestly if you only need one to start.
Will you stay on after launch?
That's the whole point. Most studios disappear at launch; we stay — OS updates, crash triage, performance work, and the steady stream of features that turn a v1 into something people keep on their home screen. Same person, start to finish.
